Hi there!
If we haven’t met yet, my name is Melissa, Mel or Mama. Different people from different chapters of my life call me different names, it’s fun! I answer and go by them all.
Thank you for your interest in Cole Collective. I am an Austin-based photographer specializing in film, lifestyle and portraiture photography. My roots belong in the Ozarks of Arkansas, where I get my love for mountains, trees, water and the outdoors. Texas stole a piece of my heart after marrying a native Texan and starting our own family roots here. I’m a wanderlust at heart, and I travel often. I’m always available for hire when traveling and will post travel dates on my blog.
My strong passion for photography started as a teenager and it has only evolved over the years. My eye has always been drawn to colors, design, lines, emotions, behaviors and people. I feel that everyone has a story to tell, and there is beauty in the raw and messy times in our lives. I love connecting with my subjects and being able to capture a glimpse into their heart and soul.
