Meet Hendrix and his beautiful and STRONG mama Kristal. This photo shoot brought me pure joy.

My friend Kristal was put on emergency bed rest at the hospital when she was only 20 weeks pregnant. She spent 6 longs weeks on bed rest in the hospital before her water broke. I was going to be delivering Posey at the same hospital and so I knew that I would be there when she was. The day I was discharged to go home with Posey her water broke. Before I went home, I went to her hospital room to see her and pray with her. Precious Hendrix stayed put for 1ish more weeks (not a comfortable time for mama), and then shortly he was born into this bright world, weighing 3lbs born at 29 weeks.

Hendrix turned 1 in December. Documenting this sweet boy and that beautiful personality made me smile the entire photo session. It amazes me how strong and resilient babies are. And MOTHERS too.
