Motherhood on Film.
Photographing motherhood sessions might be my favorite these days. Regardless if you are a stay at home mom, or a working mother, it’s ALL hard. Beautiful, but freaking HARD. I don’t know about you, but I just entered a new season of motherhood with having 2 toddlers and a very quirky 7 year old. I call all my kids the wrong names and even our living cat the dead cats name. As I type this, my mom is downstairs playing with my 2 little ones before I run off to pick up Jude from school. How is it that 2:45pm ALREADY here, but the countdown to bedtime takes forever. It’s just a chapter and it won’t always be this exhausting. Hard, yes, but the toddlers will grow fast and they won’t need me the same way that they need me now.
I look at this beautiful and strong mama and her sweet babe, and I instantly remember how it’s all worth it. And when I think I’m alone, I’m so thankful for all the texts, and social media reminders I get, to let me know that they are right there with me.
